A small, green-skinned guava relative found wild in Brazil. Fruits are oval in shape, growing to 1-2" long. Pulp is white, with a pleasant, acidic and sweet flavor.
Description: A deciduous, shrubby tree to only 4-6 feet in height. Flowers generally bloom from October to November in its native range. Fruits ripen by November and December. Fruits contain numerous small seeds.

Uses: Fruits are eaten fresh out of hand. The tree is mainly seen as a curiosity and is not often cultivated.
