An interesting, wild red jaboticaba. Fruits grow to 1-2 cm, and ripen to red, with translucent white pulp. Flavor is acidic-sweet and supposedly tasty.

Description: A small shrubby, semi-deciduous tree growing to 2-10 feet. The round fruits enclose a single seed.
