Product Description

5 seeds per pack. A perennial herb, known for its edible, underground tubers, which have a variety of food uses. It originates in the Andes Mountain region, where it has been cultivated for generations. Low growing, shrubby habit to 1+ feet. Frost hardy to zone 7. Note about these seeds: Seeds are very small. While usually grown by tuber propagation, it can also be grown by seeds, which is the only way to produce new varieties. This group of seeds is from a mixture of open pollinated plants and could produce tubers of varying color, from yellow, to pink, red, or white. The seeds can be difficult to germinate. #4675
