Uvaria microcarpa - Uvaria microcarpa

5 seeds per pack. A little known and rarely grown Uvaria, native to eastern China and portions of Vietnam. There is some confusion with the botanical name for this species, having overlap with Uvaria macrocarpa and Porcelia macrocarpa, all of which could be subspecies of one another. Features ornamental, red petaled flowers, followed by clumping, fleshy fruits that might be edible. Vining, liana habit. Grows best in tropical climates. #5360
