Inga sp. - Ice Cream Bean

2 seeds per pack. Seeds are from an unidentified species. May be Inga feuillei. Pods are somewhat shorter than the common I. edulis and I. feuillei. A popular ice cream bean species throughout Central and much of South America. Pulp is very soft, creamy white, with a great flavor resembling vanilla ice cream. Tree is subtropical, hardy to short freezes and can be kept in a container. Seeds sometimes produce multiple seedlings. #3518
