Pulp is very soft, creamy white, with a flavor resembling vanilla ice cream. Tree is subtropical, hardy to short freezes and can be kept in a container. The pacay is very similar to the ice cream bean, and the tree may be slightly hardier than I. edulis. Seeds can sprout multiple plants. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #626
