1 seed per pack. Please note: some of the seeds in this batch are beginning to germinate. A highly ornamental, rare Eugenia species found in eastern Brazil. This species is notable for its beautiful red trunk, often multi-stemmed, reminding of a reddish guava or crepe myrtle. Bears large, fleshy, edible fruits, with large seeds, having a mildly sweet flavor. Some sources suggest this species could show more cold tolerance that many of the other Brazilian Eugenia's. Semi-deciduous growth to 14 m / 45 ft. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5376
