Eugenia caipora - Eugenia caipora

Only recently described as a distinct species, it bears yellow, somewhat fuzzy skinned, pear-shaped fruits. Taste is similar (and possibly even better than) Eugenia klotzchiana. Somewhat dwarf habit, possibly to 6-10 ft / 2-3 m. Unknown frost tolerance. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5269
