Somewhat similar to both the java apple/wax jambu, the pink or red-fleshed water apple is usually much smaller in size. The flesh has a very mild, watery flavor.
Description: Medium-large tree to 40-50ft.

Growing Environment: Water apple's prefer warm, humid climates,
with rainfall distributed throughout the year.
Propagation: Usually by seeds. Can be grafted onto close relatives
such as the java apple.
Uses: Eaten fresh.
Native Range: Native range extends from India through Malaysia.
