Plant Cultivation |

Small to medium sized tree up to 40ft tall. Flowers in early summer,

in poor soils, or hot, dry climates. Somewhat frost hardy. |

Origin and Distribution |

Native to hot, dry Southern and Western savannah regions of Brazil. Rarely cultivated, except as a dooryard tree, but highly esteemed throughout its natural range. |
