Similar to the surinam cherry, but larger. The fruits have a delicious acidic sweet flavor. Sadly, the fruit is extremely rare and unknown in cultivation.
Description: Small bush or shrub.
Hardiness: Unknown, but would appear to survive short frosts.
Growing Environment: Little cultural information is available, although
growing conditions seem to be similar to that of the surinam cherry.
Propagation: By seeds.
Uses: Fruits are eaten fresh.
