Solanum habrochaites - Hairy Tomato Seeds

10 seeds per pack. An interesting wild relative of the domestic tomato, bearing small, variegated green skinned fruits with light hairs. When fully ripe, the fruits are said to be edible. However, the species is primarily a source for genetic diversity with the domesticated tomato, for which it is cross bred to impart disease resistance. The fruits give off a light citrusy odor, with green pulp. Plants are low growing, indeterminate and are heavy producers of the little fruits. #5635
