10 seeds per pack. a.k.a. Solanum ferox. An interesting edible fruit that is most closely related to the Naranjilla and Cocona. Bears round, pale yellow to orange colored fruits with a pleasing and sour aroma and flavor. The fruit skin contains small hairs, which like the naranjilla, will rub off when ripe. Traditionally used in seasonings and sauces. Plants are fairly low growing, sometimes thorny, with large leaves and are similar to the Naranjilla. Adapted to subtropical and tropical climates, but may be able to be grown as an annual with a suitably long growing season. #5258
