The bean-like fruits contain edible, sweet pulp, and the seeds are also edible, being processed into a number of foods. The tree is also notable for its bright red, furry looking flowers, making it an interesting ornamental. Medium to large sized, deciduous tree to 60-90 ft / 20-30 m. Drought tolerant, minimal frost tolerance. #4876
