1 seed per pack. Please note that most of the seeds in this batch have begun to germinate. An exciting and rare species from the Atlantic forest region of Brazil, south of Sao Paolo. This species bears soft, thin-skinned purple fruits that look somewhat like flattened Suriname Cherries. The fruits are edible, typically enjoyed fresh and reportedly have a flavor reminiscent of watermelon. Small to medium sized, bushy tree to 9-24 ft / 3-8 m. Unknown, but possibly light frost tolerance. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5211
