1 seed per pack. a.k.a. Eugenia blasantha. An excellent but rare Eugenia, with wine red colored fruits that look a bit like the Grumichama. Native to semi-deciduous forests in southern Brazil. The fruits reportedly have a great, sweet flavor, and can be eaten fresh or used in desserts and beverages. Small tree to 6-12 ft / 2-4 m. May have mild frost tolerance. Note that there is some confusion in the scientific names. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5247
