1 seed per pack. Please note: many of the seeds in this batch are beginning to germinate. Not a cherry, but a rare edible fruit from central Brazil. Short and shubby, to 3-6 ft / 1-2, with thin leaves that almost look like pine needles. It bears small, fleshy, dark red to black colored fruits with a flavor that all sources describe as "sweet and pleasant". Ornamental, edible, and rare. Unknown frost tolerance, but may be similar to other local Eugenia species. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5263
