It bears multi-lobed, red colored fruits that a couple of sources say are edible, though no reports of its quality or flavor are available. Soft flesh, with each lobe of the fruit growing to several inches. Tropical, understory tree, native to warm and wet forests. Also features ornamental, pink-red flowers. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5333
