The fruits are edible, but usually used in preserves. It also shows cauliflory, with fruits appearing directly from the trunk and main branches. Popular as a street tree in some parts of Australia, but generally still rare. Can grow up to 120 ft / 40 m. Likely only mild frost tolerance. #5209
