Syzygium malaccense - Malay Apple Seeds

Produces a large, red, crunchy fruit with a soft, sweet flavor, resembling an apple. A very refreshing fruit, malay apples, or mountain apples as they are known in Hawaii, are often served chilled on ice. Tree requires tropical conditions to grow. Protect from frost, can be tried as a house plant. Seeds should be planted on receipt and not be stored for long periods of time.
