Salvia lavandulifolia - Spanish Sage

Out of stock

25 seeds per pack. A lesser known sage, found throughout Spain and portions of southern France. It has highly aromatic leaves, which have a scent reminiscent of sage and rosemary. The leaves are most commonly used to make scented essential oil, but are also used as a substitute for regular sage or as an additive in teas. Small, shrubby plant, similar in growth habit to common sage. It is covered in pretty, light pink/purple flowers in season. Shows some frost tolerance, to zone 4. #3867
