Pierce's Pride Tomato

(Lycopersicon esculentum ) A very nice, huge fruited, black-beefsteak. Fruits grow well over a pound and ripen to a dark red-black color. The flesh is of a similar deep color. Flavor is good, with a rich, classic tomato taste. The plants bear heavily for a large tomato and the fruits are well-shaped making them great for slicing. 80-85 days. #1199
