10 seeds per pack. A small, branching, deciduous shrub that is native to subtropical and tropical Africa through India and east Asia. Bears small, purple fruits that are said to be like sour grapes. The fruits are apparently edible as reports suggest they are sold locally in parts of west Africa. Some parts of the plant are reported as having some toxicity and the species could have the potential to be weedy in certain regions. Shrubby habit to 16-50 ft / 5-15 m. Grows best in moist tropical climates but is adaptable in many warmer zones. #5282
