It produces plump little fruits that ripen to dark purple, with a light velvet sheen. Edible, with a mildly sweet flavor. Bushy growth to 3 m / 10 ft. An interesting and rare species that has a lot of potential for an edible ornamental as well as container culture growth. Unknown if any frost tolerance. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5656
