Lycium berlandieri - Berlandier's Wolfberry Seeds

10 seeds per pack. A little known wolfberry species native to the southwestern United States and portions of Mexico. In summer it produces large quantities of small, red fruits that are similar in general appearance to the goji berry. The fruits are said to be edible, with a number of historical records finding native tribes using the fruits for various purposes. Low growing, deciduous shrub is highly drought tolerant and should also be frost tolerant to several degrees below freezing. #4570
