4 seeds per pack. A strange and rare fruit from mid-elevation mountains in the India-China border region. It is a vining plant, bearing small to occasionally medium sized fruits that are a collection of capsuled carpels. The fruits are edible, collected wild and sometimes traded in local markets. As the vine naturally grows in mountainous regions, it may show some frost tolerance. There is conflicting information whether the species is monoecious or dioecious. Please note that the photo is likely Kadsura coccinea, but is generally representative of the fruit's appearance. #4599 Out of stock. Last available: 2008
