5 seeds per pack. An obscure relative of the common papaya, this herbaceous perennial bears colorful, purple and yellow oval fruits that grow to about 2.5 cm / 1". The fruits have prominent horns at their end and have a fragrant flavor with some citrus acidity. The fruits are sometimes available in local markets in parts of their native Mexico and are typically used in flavoring sauces and preserves. Very rare. #4324 Out of stock.
