10 seeds per pack. A common and large barrel cactus, found wild throughout hilly, dry areas of Central Mexico. It's large, bulbous stem can reach over 3 ft / 1 m in height. Along with attractive flowers and a pleasantly symmetrical pattern of spines, it yields a tasty, edible and sour flavored fruit. Does well in arid zones and while it won't stand much frost, it can exist in cooler, subtropical areas. #5336
