The fruits are elongated, berry-like, and ripen to red/purple, with a sweet, tasty flavor. Fruits grow on a short tree, with bushy growth to 12-18 ft / 3-6 m. It's native range suggests it may be freeze hardy to the low or mid 20's (F). Easily container grown and prolific when fruiting. #5220
