1 seed per pack. Please note that a few of the seeds in this batch are beginning to germinate. A rare, edible berry native to South Florida, in the Miami-Dade county area. It bears small, edible fruits that ripen to dark purple and are said to have a mildly sweet flavor similar to the rumberry. Part of the myrtle family, it is related to other Myrica and Eugenia species. Also notable for its uniquely spicy-scented foliage and profuse, fragrant white blossoms. Very popular with birds. Seldom seen in cultivation. Hardy to very brief and mild frosts. #4808 Out of stock. Last available: 10/3/2020 - 11/16/2020
