15 seeds per pack. A famous tree of the Pacific coast, from California, north to British Columbia. The lovely madrone is often recognized for its attractive, reddish bark, making the tree look a bit like a large manzanita. It bears small, edible fruits, with a fairly bland flavor that are very popular with wildlife. Native tribes once boiled and dried the fruits and sometimes processed them into cider. Medium sized tree that can reach 90 ft / 30 m, but usually stays much smaller. Hardy to around 0F. It thrives in cooler, coastal regions. #325
