Guazuma ulmifolia - West Indian Elm

15 seeds per pack. An interesting tropical tree, found widely throughout the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America. The tree is best known for its wide ranging medicinal applications as well as its use in carpentry. The fruits are edible, smell strongly of honey and are hard shelled and lacking much pulp. Grows to 30-120 feet. Probably hardy to very brief frosts. #673
