A little known ice cream bean having fluffy pink flowers. The fruits grow to a little over 2" and are elongated and flattened. They ripen to yellow-green. Flesh is mildly sweet.
Description: An evergreen tree growing to 10-30 feet. The fruits ripen from November through January in its native range.

Uses: The fruits can be eaten fresh, but this species is little known and is not cultivated.
