Description: Slow growing tree. Fruits are round, woody, a bit like the bael fruit in appearance.
Hardiness: Unknown, but reportedly not frost hardy.
Growing Environment: Grows best in wet climates that also have a dry season.
Propagation: Usually by seed. Seedling trees take up to 15 years to being bearing fruit.
Uses: Eaten fresh. Fruits have some popularity in parts of India.
Native Range: Native to dry areas of India. The wood apple is sometimes cultured in parts of southeast Asia.
