An extremely rare and recently discovered wild pepper. The original specimens were discovered in 1994 and later described as a new species in 2006.
Description: A shrubby plant, bearing similarities to Capsicum lanceolatum and reportedly growing up to 6-8 feet in height. The leaves are long for a pepper, and come to a sharp point at their ends. The flowers are yellow, making this species, along with C. rhomboideum the only known yellow flowered peppers. Fruits are tiny berries which ripen to red.

Uses: Unknown in cultivation. Extremely rare, with no current known sources for cultivation.
Native Range: Found only in a tiny range, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Native to cloud forests at 2000-3000m in elevation.
