Beautiful and rare wild poppy native to California. Along with its gorgeous appearance, the poppies have a lily like fragrance-a rarity for a poppy.
Description: Short annual, growing to about 1-2ft. Naturally grows in grasslands and mountain foothills, so it can survive freezes. Will reseed itself. Flowers bloom off and on throughout spring and summer.
Hardiness: Hardy to frosts, but naturally grows during the warmer months.

Growing Environment: Grow in full sun. Protect from temperatures over 100F. Seems to do best in areas with mild water and cool to moderate temperatures.
Propagation: By seeds.
Uses: Used as an ornamental.
Native Range: Native to California.
