An exotic and interesting Passiflora known for its white blooms which occur in pairs.
Description: A fast-growing vine with semi-lobed leaves. Vines may grow many feet in a single season.
Hardiness:Exact hardiness unknown. Probably hardy to frosts and some sources claim hardiness as low as 15-20F.
Growing Environment: Grow in full sun or part shade. Water regularly. Once established it is extremely fast-growing.
Propagation: By seeds, which can take weeks to a few months to sprout. Seeds should be planted in warm soil and soaked for 24-48 hours in warm water prior to planting. Giberrelic acid treatments helps as well. Also propagated by stem cuttings.
Uses: Grown as an ornamental for its pretty flowers.
Native Range: Native to the Americas. It also grows wild in parts of Southern Florida.
