A wild passion fruit of Brazil bearing 3", oval, green skinned fruits with translucent orange pulp that reportedly has a juicy, tasty and acidic flavor.
A perennial vine with three-lobed leaves and white flowers. The flowers are fairly ornate, characteristic of the passion flowers, but show a bit more simplicity as compared with some of its more colorful relatives.
Fruits are eaten fresh out of hand.
Native to Bahia, Mato Grosso and surrounding areas of Brazil.
