One of the more ornamental passion flower vines for its foliage, this species is best-known for its strongly veined leaves which may turn yellow or pink.
Description: Fast-growing vine with three-lobed leaves that have prominent yellow or pink coloring near the veins. Flowers are about 1", ornate, with white petals and sepals. This species is a smaller, more delicate grower that some other passion flower vines and as such is popular for use in containers, hanging baskets and small spaces.
Hardiness: Hardy to 32-35F.
Growing Environment: Grows well in full and filtered sun. Water regularly. Plant in well-drained soil.
Propagation: By seeds, by cuttings.
Uses: Generally grown as an ornamental, both for its attractive foliage and its flowers.
Native Range: Native to the Peruvian Amazon.
