Hardiness: The tree seems to be somewhat
hardy and able to survive brief temperature drops to the 30's.
Growing Environment: Cultivation information is limited. It does
succeed outdoors in Southern California, but generally doesn't grow
very tall. Will grow in sun or shade.
Propagation: By seeds.
Uses: The dried flowers are used as a flavoring for chocolate drinks and a variety of other things. Flowers are also used to produce perfume.
Native Range: Native to Southern Mexico.
