A smaller type of Rollinia fruit that ripens to a brownish-yellow having white pulp with a very pleasant sweet flavor, but unfortunately with fairly large seeds.
Description: A small evergreen tree, usually to 10-20ft.
Hardiness: Unknown, but as this plant occurs naturally at higher altitudes than some of its near relatives, it may show some frost hardiness.
Growing Environment: Not well studied. Should enjoy regular water and protection from hard freezes.
Propagation: By seeds.
Uses: Fruits are eaten fresh, but not usually cultivated.
Native Range: Native to Brazil from sea level and into some of the higher altitude mountain regions.
