Smooth Genip 
Genipa infudibuliformes

A rare genip with large fruits that grow to about 4" long. Skin is brown, with translucent pulp that is aromatic and has an acidic flavor.

Description: An evergreen tree growing to 25-50 feet.

Growing Environment: Grows well in humid, warm climates.

Uses: The fruits are eaten fresh, though sugar is often added to reduce their acidity.
