Description: Herbaceous shrub to 7-10ft.
Hardiness: The shell ginger
produces rhizomes which are hardy to the 20's. The plant will die back
with freezing temperatures. In cold climates, rhizomes can be dug up
and stored indoors for the winter.
Growing Environment: Shell ginger's grow best in shade
or filtered sunlight. Provide ample water and humidity.
