An extremely rare fruit from the Amazon, the Puca grow to an inch or so, with an oblong shape and a brownish, purple skin. Beneath the thin skin is revealing a reportedly sweet and very tasty pulp.
Description: A short to medium, semi-deciduous tree to 10-25ft. The fragrant flowers are born in small clusters.

Uses: The fruits are not widely known, but are eaten fresh.
Native Range: Native to a few parts of Northeast and Central Brazil.
