Small, dark purple skinned fruit with acidic, grape flavored flesh.
Description: Small shrub or tree to 15ft. The branches and leaves are covered
with hairs.
Hardiness:The phalsa is somewhat frost hardy but also grows well in
tropical regions.

Uses: Usually eaten fresh. Also used to make soft drinks.
Native Range: Native to India and southeast Asia.
