A small, purple fruited tree of the South American jungles. The 3/4" fruits ripen to dark purple and have green, translucent pulp with a succulent, sweet flavor.

Description: A deciduous or semi deciduous tree growing to 20-60 feet. Fruits ripen from January to February in its native range.
