Governor's Plum

Small purple red fruit with orange yellow flesh having the flavor of a plum.

Eaten fresh.

Plant Cultivation

Tropical or subtropical tree hardy to 26F. Both male and female plants are produced from seed. Fruits mature after one to two months from flowering.
Propagation: By seed, grafts and air layers are also used.

Origin and Distribution

Native to tropical Africa and Asia.
