Carissa wyliei
An uncommon natal plum relative and probably the only Carissa species lacking spines. Fruits are red, fleshy, and of unknown quality.
Description
A small shrub growing to 3-10 feet. Flowers are small, white, and form in large clusters. They are sweetly fragrant. Unlike other Carissa species, this species is thornless.

Unknown.
Growing Environment
Grows very well in full sun. Is likely somewhat drought tolerant.
Propagation
By seeds.
Uses
Fruits are likely edible. The species is uncommon and information is very limited as to uses.
Native Range
Native to the eastern Cape region of Africa.
