An attractive loose leaf/oak leaf type lettuce with ruffled, frilly leaves that are blushed in deep red, green, and colors in between. The variety has a somewhat compact growth habit, forming a nice round shape. The leaves tend to darken as they mature, leaving a green base in the middle. This variety is also popular for its resistance to a few common lettuce problems, including downy mildew and tip burn.
