Interesting medium to
large sized beefsteak-style tomato bearing red fruits with orange/yellow
stripes. Fruits can weigh up to a pound and have good flavor. Commonly
used as a slicing tomato. Some strains can be colored more yellow than
red.
There is another type of tomato also known as 'Mr. Stripey', which was
originally known as 'Tigerella'. This variety has smaller fruit, with
similar coloration, but tends to be more red/orange than the other 'Mr.
Stripey'.
